Google quietly released some exciting features in classroom the other day. You might have noticed when you went to create an assignment/question/announcement that you can now pick specific students to address it to!
This opens up the much-requested option to create group assignments!
Another new feature is notifications for teachers. You can now receive notifications of late work or re-submitted work. If you are not already receiving notifications, you might need to turn them on:

Go to classroom.google.com.
- At the top, click Menu (the three bars).
- Click Settings (you might need to scroll down).
- Check or uncheck the Send email notifications box.
Notifications are either on or off for all your classes, so you might want to use email filters to control the amount of mail you start to receive from this feature!
