Morning sun on the conference centre in Barcelona
A quick update from ECIS in Barcelona! The committee met several times to discuss plans for replacing several members who will be stepping down this year and how we can be a positive resource for our members.
Unfortunately, official interest group meeting times were scheduled for a pre-keynote slot so very few of our members came. This led to planning on how we can make some member-specific activities throughout the conference in November 2016 so watch this space for how to connect with your colleagues in Copenhagen! We are in the process of filling two spots on the committee. More information on the application process coming soon.
In a new development, ECIS announced the creation of the STEAM committee and our very own Paula Marra is leaving us to head up that group. Good luck, Paula!
